1/4 cup mung beans (crushed not whole)
1/4 cup rice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup water
Put ingredients in a pot and boil vigorously until the water is almost gone and the beans and rice are partially cooked. At this point cover and add water very slowly as it is needed until the beans and rice are soft.
Makes 1 serving.
